Every high school team has that one gifted freshman who gets called up to varsity and threatens all the veterans? positions. ?

Sometimes the elder statesmen label the youngster as an outcast, other times his talent is embraced and it pushes everyone else to perform better. Anthony Rizzo is the new kid on campus and Cubs veterans are certainly leaning toward the latter.

Since Rizzo was called up a week ago the Cubs have won five out of six and have shown flashes of improvement as a team. "The Riz kid" himself has gone 7-for-23 (.304) with two home runs, five RBIs, two doubles and a .986 OPS. He has also delivered the game-winning RBI on three occasions. And let?s be honest no matter how good he is none of the seniors want to get outplayed by a freshman.

Since Rizzo?s arrival Luis Valbuena is hitting .333 -- .87 points above his average -- with six RBIs and a 1.030 OPS. David Dejesus is also a prime example of the Rizzo effect, hitting .64 points above his average since the call-up. Darwin Barney has been hitting well above his average. That, coupled with a few outstanding nights in the field shows great progress for him as well. ?

Whether related to Rizzo?s arrival or not, Starlin Castro took four walks last week, which is more than a third of his season total. I don?t know if it?s the unrelenting Chicago heat, Rizzo?s arrival or a mystery element, but the Cubs have more closely resembled a team with playoff hopes than one in last place of late.

Rizzo doesn?t appear to be feeling the pressure either -- because honestly, there isn?t much. This is the perfect environment for a talented prospect to find his bearings in what can be a cruel and unforgiving league. If anyone is feeling the heat it is Rizzo?s teammates who are trying to keep pace with the new guy. ?

Cubs brass has made it clear that this team is in the process of a massive roster overhaul and sometimes all it takes is a fresh, talented face in the clubhouse to remind some of the veterans that tomorrow is never a guarantee.

It is much too early to pass judgment on the new guy but there does seem to be an aura about him. In one week "The Rizzard of Oz" has granted Valbuena a swing, Barney a glove and Castro an eye.

But most importantly, he has granted Chicago a glimmer of hope for the future. ?

Like a train, "I Wish" is slow to build momentum, then it carries us away in a wondrous rush.

You watch it remembering the days when you should have walked but simply had to run, and when you believed that, if you wished hard enough, your dead pet just might come back again.

Despite its youthful perspective on adult concerns, the feature generates a few profound moments of basic need in the midst of an atypical men-on-a-mission film.

The lives of the children in "I Wish" seem to be expanding in front of our eyes, as evidenced by their changing wishes, which become bigger and more beautiful as their plan proceeds.

A flurry of details that reveal a grand canvas of love and loyalty if we take a step back.

A film that moves a bit too slowly for its own good but has remarkable cumulative strength by its emotional finale.

At its worst, I Wish is static. At its best, it has the warmth and subtlety of classic Asian works by Edward Yang and Yasujiro Ozu.

Koreeda's like a modern Ozu, documenting the trickle down effect of global economic changes on once strongly held traditions of Japanese family life.

If the Dardenne brothers were Japanese instead of French-Belgian, or perhaps set out to craft a homage to Yasujiro Ozu that was crossed with a whimsical yet melancholic version of The Parent Trap, it might well resemble this.

All of the kids in "I Wish" come across as real and believable, a tribute to Koreeda's directing skills working with children.

Recently, Facebook changed everyone's email to an @facebook.com address. Even if you fixed the problem, you may find that Facebook changed all of the contacts in your phone, too. Here's how to fix it.

A lot of us sync our Facebook accounts with our address books on our smartphones, so we always have up-to-date phone numbers, email addresses, and pictures for all of our friends. However, with Facebook changing everyone's email to @facebook.com last week, blogger Rachel Luxemburg (and a lot of other people) found that those changes were synced down to their phone?meaning they don't have any of their friends' actual email addresses anymore. Just the facebook.com ones.

None of us at Lifehacker have noticed this problem, but we do have a few ideas about how to fix it. In fact, this will fix any similar problem you have where your contacts get messed up. Here's what you need to do.

Step one: Restore your contacts to a previous state
Some services?particularly Google?regularly back up your contacts so if something goes wrong, you can restore them. And, since nearly all Android users sync their contacts with Google?as well as many iPhone users?this is a good way to fix the contacts on your phone. To do so, just follow these instructions:

1. Before you do anything else, go to your phone and turn off Facebook syncing for your contact list. On Android, this is in the Facebook app under Settings > Sync Contacts. Just set it to "Don't Sync". On the iPhone, go to the Facebook app, click the menu button, scroll down to "Friends", then hit the share button in the upper right-hand corner. Tap "Sync Contacts" and turn syncing off. Note that depending on your platform, you may have a "Remove Facebook Data" button on the contact syncing screen?tapping this will also turn off syncing.
2. Go to your Gmail inbox, and click on the "Gmail" label under the Google logo. Go to Contacts. Remember, this trick only works if you were syncing your phone with your Google contacts.
3. Click the "More" button and go to "Restore Contacts". We don't know exactly when the Facebook change happened, but you'll probably want to set it to restore your contacts from a day before June 22, 2012, so set it to whatever you need to go back that far.
4. Click the Restore button. When it finishes, you should hopefully find that all of your contacts' correct email addresses have been restored! As long as you don't sync with Facebook again, they should stay that way.

If you don't sync your contacts with Google, check to see if your desktop address book has any alternatives. For example, if you're on a Mac and you back it up with Time Machine, you can just open up Address Book, invoke Time Machine from the menu bar, then restore it to a date before the Facebook ridiculousness happened. Then when you re-sync your iPhone, you should be good to go. Check your address book app's documentation for more info on whether it has an automatic backup feature.

Step two: Remind your friends to change their Facebook profile
If you can't restore your address book?or if you still want to be able to sync your Facebook?the only thing you can do is get all your friends to change their Facebook profile back to the way it was. That way, Facebook will sync their correct email address back to your phone.
